Duncan will work at JupiterIV/II for five years. Because of his job, he bought a Martian girl to handle his housework .

The Martian girl, Lellie, was about twenty. And Duncan cost 1000 to buy her. But his company agent asked Duncan should get marry with Lellie if he would take space travel with Lellie. So, finally, the total bill for Lellie was 2310.

But it’s just the beginning when they arrived the JupiterIV/II. Duncan hated the Martian and always thought she was stupid and dumb. He often hit, shouted her always kept angry and impatient with her.

After few month, someone called Alan was a Doctor to come to JupiterIV/II  for doing some tests. Alan will work here for one year. At first, Duncan was happy he had a new friend and stay with him. But Duncan didn’t like to answer Alan’s questions about Lellie. Three month later, Alan started to teach Lellie read books. Duncan didn't like that too.

Duncan try to stop Alan to teach Lellie and give her many different ideas. Lellie like to chat with Alan because he was a nice man and always friendly. Alan became a hero in Lellie heart. And Duncan thought Lellie was so stupid, she didn’t need to read. But Alan didn’t agree his points. Because of Lellie, Duncan had an argument with Alan. Duncan had a bad idea about Alan.

One day Alan took off on a routine flight to the other side of IV/II to collect some rocks. But he never came back. Alan was gone. Lellie was so sad. She always looked out of the window hour after hour and read everything she could find. Sometimes she was learning from books things that he did not know himself. He did not enjoy being asked questions he could not answer, so he deceived to teach her his skill of his work. Lellie became his secretary.

One day , when Duncan finished his routine jobs and returned home, he found the space door was closed. He tried to tell Lellie open the door, but Lellie was sitting on the chair and looking straight in front of her. Duncan totally understood what happened on him right now. Alan never left in Lellie’s heart.

Finally, Duncan was dead because of no air on his space-suit. And Lellie will take his money away until the spaceship came to JupiterIV/II.
