Comparing with the year before, less and less Americans go to the theaters. It’s currently a lowest point about cinema attendance in the United States since 1996.

Movie executives attribute to everything, such as video games or weak economy. In fact, the reason for changing is because of consumer habits. It’s undermining the movie industry right now.

Now, Time is changing. Before days ago, there are many metrics to consider a film’s success.  So many films expected to have strong ticket sales, but the result is disappointed. In the past over years, average ticket sales for opening weekends have slowly changed.

Nowadays, most people always look for their friends or critics what’s their feeling about the films. Moreover, some people like to wait DVD or Blu-ray Disc or other video websites.

Then here is Hollywood’s tough problem. Over the past decade, TV is changing from a robust box to a flat panel. Today, people just stay at home can enjoy the fun the same with cinema.

Connected TV gradually becomes a trend in the market, especially evident at the recent CSE in Las Vegas. Connected TV will combine with tablet, video games and smartphones in the future.

According to consumer’s habits and interest, connected TV can provide personal content that people want to see. The media company also can make suitable ads for everyone.

It’s time to TV to become a social tool. People can make communication with others from connected TV. They can share comments in real time and get the fun from videos. Connected TV build a small network in each other’s life circle.

When TVs become a social networking, the consumer’s situation will be affected. More and more personal cables broadcast in the Internet. In this process, traditional networking TV can’t get with the trend.

In last conclusion, Hollywood’s films suppose to figure out the way when everyone is watching the show online in the future.
