Just press “print”--summery
Additive manufacturing(or 3D printing) has become more and more popular in recent years. Due to personal ideas, this technique could create individual objects from violins to pilotless aircraft. Now, the Gene Duplication Corporation decided to focus on the technology and use 3D printing to make tailor-made pets.
DeneDupe has previously devoted their research on the genetic engineering of animals. However, they start to research another technique, for example, printing an organ for transplant. Printing an organ is a easy way to help people. DeneDupe used a new skill to analyze the position and nature of every single cell in many kinds of animals. This technology not only creates an animal which we already knew, but allows making the new combinations of form, color and behavior from the client’s command.
However, they met a tough problem which unresolved will prevent progress with nerve cells, because nerve cells control different temperaments. Therefore, GeneDupe could provide pets which have special characteristics. Customers could make the pets which they like. There are still a few technical difficulties to overcome. They plan to produce custom-printed boyfriends and girlfriends for some people who cannot find soul-mates.

Comparing with the year before, less and less Americans go to the theaters. It’s currently a lowest point about cinema attendance in the United States since 1996.
Movie executives attribute to everything, such as video games or weak economy. In fact, the reason for changing is because of consumer habits. It’s undermining the movie industry right now.

Other suck story of presentation
I had a terrible (suck) story for my presentation. In front of my description, I have to emphasize that this was my first time to make presentation for a client. Last Thursday, according to my assistant manager’s plan, we would go to the Taipei Lighting Show first and have a meeting with a client who comes from Romania. The meeting of host organization is Taiwan External Trade Development. Sometimes they hold many international business meetings and invite a few companies which come from all over the world in Taipei International Convention Center.
However, My assistant manager’s have a date with the host and customer on Thursday. But at the same time, she had the other meeting on Thursday. In the beginning, she hoped I could go to the meeting which the Taiwan Trade host it by myself. But I told her I couldn’t do this alone because I have never met and made a presentation to clients. If you want me to present, I need to practice before and someone have to teach me how to make a presentation. So she said: “ok, fine, I’ll go with you. You could stay my side to learn how to do a presentation.“
This day was coming, when I ready went to the meeting, my assistant manager suddenly told me she couldn’t go with me because she still had to handle the other customer. But she would ask help for the other manager who charge of display department, she would support me to present. I had a little hesitation because the Display manager already went to the lighting show and she didn’t contact the Display manager at that moment. Anyway, I still prepared some flyers and introduction Powerpoint to the place. And guess what? When I already arrived in the Taipei International Convention Center, I was ALONE!! I didn’t prepare how to present, I have never faced clients before and I still have tough process in English!!

Adopted son - summery
Since the top football of Chinese’s league has exposed many scandals two years ago and Yao Ming has retired from the National Basketball Association, Chinese sports fans have looked for a new hero for a long time. At first, they focused on Chinese-born-and-trained Yi Jianlian of the Mavericks. They hoped Mr. Yi would replace Mr. Yao as a Chinese star in the NBA. However, Jeremy Lin, a Taiwanese-American player gets more attention in the NBA.
Although Mr. Lin is very popular in China, other Chinese still hesitate about this fever. There are four reasons: First, he was born in America and came from a Taiwanese family. (Even though most Chinese have claimed Taiwan is just an island) Second, he has strong faith in Christianity. Third, he isn’t born-and-trained in China. And the final reason, Mr. Lin graduated from Harvard which is not in the hothouse sports system of American college.
Because of his modest height and his unremarkable parents, he wouldn’t be allowed to enter China’s state sports system. The Chinese sports system prefers to choose strong and tall players rather than point guards.

PM2.5 in China
In the beginning, I have no idea about what’s PM2.5.
I only hear of PH or Project Manager.
And then, I surfed Internet to get some news about PM2.5 and just got the point.
PM means Particulate Matter (PM).
That is one of serious pollutants, and the most important in terms of adverse effects on human health.

No man is an island
A few days ago, I told to some of my friends with something. Something that we would not like to discuss, something that we would not control to change, something that we could not help to stopping at all.
I always consider why I’m still here? I always feel helpless what I don’t know. If I could not control my life, how can I change another? I would like to realize the answers, but they are still the tough questions at present.
Sometimes, silence will kill a man. I hope I can be a warm person, and always full of passion to treat everything.

Today I got a message from the Human Resource department of the company.
She would like to interview with me but hope to have a conversation on the telephone first.
Therefore I made a call to her.
On the telephone, she asked me two questions.

Hot spring in 八煙
I soaked in the hot spring last Sunday. The hot spring located in Young Ming Mountain. Generally speaking, the hot spring is called “八煙”. It’s situated in the streams of the mountain. So it’s not villages or hotels. It’s nature hot spring in Young Ming Mountain.
It took about forty minutes to 八煙 hot spring and when we arrived, we would take thirty minutes to walk. There is one way to go into the hot streams of mountain. In the way, we came across the river by the bridge that people made it. The bridge looks like very dangerous, because it is a little high without the handrails.

Cultural difference or Different cognitive?
A few days ago, Ken and I talked about traffic jam in Taiwan. He said someone always easy throws himself into a bad mood when he has a long line-up or traffic jam. Actually, despite I drive or ride a scooter, I not usually get angry in any situations. Therefore I’m a little confused why some people always have a bad mood in driving.
He told me that he has drove here since four years ago, but he isn’t still adaptable the traffic in Taiwan. In Canada, they drive like this:
